This home is just a few yards from the ocean with windows in every room that face the water to offer incredible views of Lanai and Molokai. The sounds of the surf will bring peace to your soul and lull you to sleep at night. From the lanai, you can watch sea turtles in the tide pools, see the whales breach in season, and glimpse surfers off the Kahana shores. This home has one of the best views on the island.

This upper-end unit has two bedrooms, one king-size bed, one queen, a queen-size sleeper sofa, plenty of closet and dresser space, and two full bathrooms with large showers. There are granite countertops in the fully-equipped kitchen, ceiling fans in every room, high-speed internet and free WiFi, desk space for your computer, and a flatscreen HDTV with cable and a DVD player.

Mahina Surf is a small and quiet complex with lovely gardens, a heated pool, oceanside gas grills, and on-site laundry facilities. Kaanapali and Kapalua golf courses are both less than four miles away, and there is excellent dining available in Lahaina, Napili, Kaanapali, and Kapalua.

Guests at Mahina Surf enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool set along Maui's coastline, with garden grounds and a disabled parking spot for easy access. The beachfront location puts the water just outside your lanai, and grab rails support accessibility. A nearby laundromat adds convenience for longer stays at this 42 unit complex.

The neighborhood:
Mahina Surf is in Honokowai on West Maui's shoreline, a quieter stretch north of busy Kaanapali. It gives your group an oceanfront place to exhale, while beach days stay close: Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, and Kapalua Beach are all within about four miles. Pick up fresh fish at Fish Market Maui, less than a mile away, then come home for sunset by the water. It is a relaxed base for families and friends who want West Maui beaches without staying in the middle of the resort bustle.

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 40 to 45 minutes away along Maui's west side coastline. A rental car is recommended for reaching beaches, shopping, and dining along the coast. Kaanapali, Kapalua, and Lahaina-area destinations are a drive away, while nearby beaches are often just minutes from the complex. Parking is typically available in designated lots, though it can fill up at popular beaches and restaurants.
