Inside, this unique split-level home is airy and spacious, with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and light hardwood floors.

Upstairs in the common area of the home, you'll find a vaulted wood ceiling and a wall lined with glass doors, leading out to the spacious deck. Relax in the expansive, lovely living room, curling up in front of the fireplace and reading one of your favorite novels.

You’ll also find the dining and kitchen area attached to this large room, so when you’re done relaxing in front of the fire, pick up some groceries from a nearby store and whip up a feast in the large kitchen with all of the amenities you could ever ask for. Serve the food at the four-person dining table, enjoying all of the included plates, silverware, and even wine glasses in this fantastic home!

Just off the living room, you’ll find one large bedroom, with the same vaulted ceilings as the rest of the second floor, as well as a king bed. This bedroom also has private doors to the deck. For the convenience of guests staying in this room, as well as anyone in the living room and kitchen, there is also a full bathroom upstairs.

Two lovely bedrooms are right downstairs - one with a queen bed and one with a twin bed - as well as a full bathroom. There’s also a laundry room nearby with a private washer/dryer, so there’s really no need to overpack. The futon is great for an additional guest, making this home perfect for up to five guests.

On the lower level, you’ll also find a family room with games for the kids and cable TV. A sliding glass door leads to a crushed-rock patio. Out on the patio, you’ll also notice a wood-lined pathway of cathedral pines that heads down to the charming wooden dock and a rocky beach area. The kids will have so much fun beach combing for crabs, shells and sea glass!

If you need to bring a bit of work along with you, don’t forget that you’ll have access to free WiFi during your stay. Make sure not to work too hard, however, because there’s a lot to do in this wonderful area!

Spend your days sunning yourself, nature watching, and relaxing out on your gorgeous deck. Just 262 feet from the water, you’ll be able to see gorgeous views of Linekin Bay from one of the sun chairs, or you can have a family meal outside under the shaded table. There’s even a gas grill outside if you feel up to having a summer barbecue!

This is a great location in a private setting. You can fish off the dock or be "in town" in a matter of minutes. This is our second time staying in this house and it won't be our last!

The private dock was awesome! Lay down there and look up at the stars, it’s amazing. You get the best of both worlds here, being in the woods and waterfront. Yes the walk down to the dock is slightly physically challenging, but it’s worth it! Everything was in working order and we had everything we needed. My brother said he would come back here with friends. It’s a short drive to the town of Boothbay Harbor for all your shopping and restaurants-although there are some just down the street also. Also just down the road is Ocean Point which is great views, looking for sea glass and enjoying the sunset. Take a walk to the Damariscotta River from the nature preserve trail. It really was a great location. Is the house a little outdated? Yeah, but the dishwasher works and so does everything else! Other reviewers mentioned the mustiness but it wasn’t an issue for us. I didn’t mind emptying the dehumidifier either. If you want a 5 star resort feel then go elsewhere and pay the big bucks. This place was cozy and affordable. I have no complaints!

Such a beautiful, clean home. We where so excited when we walked through the doors and sad to leave. There was so much privacy and the surrounding town is adorable. Thank you providing such an amazing home to relax and have a great stay! I hope to find myself back here in the future.

Wonderful location. Great deck. Nicely stocked kitchen. Short wooded walk to dock and float. We spotted a lobster and many crabs.

I loved the private dock, the open concept house layout, the beautiful woodwork and ceilings. It was secluded and private. Exactly what I was looking for

Outdoor spaces were most enjoyable. Glad for the nice weather.

The drive down from the road promised magic. From the moment we walked in the view from the wide open deck possessed us all - stunning and yet private and serene. The rhodies below the house reminded me of my native Northwest in the Downeast. We watched all the sunsets from this perch, occasionally venturing down to the dock to chat with neighbors and watch the pogies gulp in groups.

The house itself is simple, immaculate, and very well organized and appointed. We had no problem finding all the tools we needed to craft some nice feasts for the lot of us, or to enjoy takeout from down the street. The beds were all in good shape, comfortable, and well turned out. The two levels worked extremely well for multigenerational vacationing, with us elders taking over the main floor master suite while our young adults took over the lower level. Most of the time was spent congregating on the deck, dock, and living space. We also enjoyed nearby ocean point and the epic rockscapes with splashing waves and hunting seals and rising orange Sturgeon moon.

My only regret is that I didn't bring the inflatable kayak for puttering around the cove - it is a quite a hike down to the dock, but worth it just to hang out on the water and swim. We considered paddling around from either end of the bay with our huge double kayak, but the impending arrival of TS Isaias deterred us. We later found some excellent paddling nearby at Knickercain Park.

Five stars for beauty, seclulsion without isolation, serenity, and a tidy and comfortable home stay experience.

Wonderful place!!

Great view through the glass ocean facing wall. This house was built in 1990 and has been maintained if not upgraded much (The Bosch dishwasher is an exception). Everything worked well enough. Internet was a little tricky sometimes and some windows are in need of a little love. East Boothbay is a charming coastal village. 5 minute drive from all essentials (Hannafords). The kids enjoyed it. We would rent here again for sure.

We manage vacation rentals in Hawaii so we know what to expect. I was extremely surprised to see how clean the house was as a have a high standard. The bed was comfortable as well as the whole house. Enjoyed seeing some local wild life on the property and walking through the woods down to the dock. We would rent here again. Aloha and Mahalo

Great home with charme. Great location, nice views. All you need was there, a dishwasher was missed in the beginning, but wasn‘t really a problem . We all enjoyed our stay very much.
Manager response:
We are excited to share the owners will be installing a dishwasher for next season. Thank you!

Loved the setting. The view of the bay, the proximity to one of the best seafood restaurants and the nostalgia. It's a short drive form Booothbay and 3 miles from the supermarket. Because of its woodsy location, have plenty of bug repellent on hand.

5 of us got together here this past weekend. It is often difficult to believe everything you see on the internet, however I felt that the pictures and descriptions were accurate. This house is a great place to relax.

Great house for 2-5 people. Could do two more on downstairs couches. Upstairs living area is amazing. Deck runs the length of the house with four doors to access. View of the bay is so relaxing and inspiring. Path to the pier is a bit long and would be hard for anyone who has mobility issues, but once you are on the dock, great place to fish from and sunbathe (bring down one of the easy to carry folding chairs!). We loved the games provided and cooked from the family style kitchen that we never turned on the TV. Wifi was fine. East Boothbay General Store: beer, wine, great pizza, fun breakfast sandwiches, lattes in the morning. Tidal Kayak rental (did it twice it was so much fun, but beware, paddling the long tour (2 plus hours) out to Burnt Island is tough for those not in decent shape - shorter options are also fun). Balmy Days II to Monhegan Island well worth it if you like hiking easy to hard trails for four hours (make reservations and get to Pier 8 thirty minutes before boarding to get a seat up top and in the sun). Knickerbocker Lake if you like lake swimming and fishing from a dock. Any of the Preserves for hiking (we did Ocean Point (easy) and Linekin (hard)). Best lobster roll (whole lobster plus for weight): Shannons Unshelled by Tidal kayak rental in BB Harbor. If you want to swim or boat from this house, not really the right house. Great though to use as a base for Boothbay Harbor region and go hiking, kayaking, and swimming in the areas suggested and then come back to Linekin Lookout to relax, reflect, and recharge.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this immaculate and well-located house.
