Head to the southern portion of the island and you will find a local Nordland general store to stock up on needs, a trail to the beach to spend warm afternoons on, and even a local vineyard to indulge in wine tasting. There is also a boat launch and kayaks for rent on the island if you are feeling adventurous. Fine dining and charm are only 19 miles away in historical Port Townsend. Play 18 holes at the Port Ludlow Golf Course only about 20 miles away.
