We appreciated the hot tub, the feel and look of the unit, the bedrooms, and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. We also used and appreciated the grill outside.

We loved being able to walk to Fort Rock Park every night to play basketball!!!

Although check-in was very simple, I was bummed that early check-in wasn’t available, due to covid and “extra cleaning” that needed to take place (yeah, ok) The house definitely wasn’t deep cleaned.. there was popcorn in the couch and the coffee table had crumbs on it.. We stayed for 2 nights in June. It was 80 degrees out and the house was HOT. There is no AC. Other reviews mentioned there being AC only in the kitchen/living room… nope! There’s even a note on the thermostat that says “No AC”. So if you’re looking to stay here in the summer, beware. The house gets warm, even with the two fans (from the 1990’s) that they provide, especially upstairs. Speaking of upstairs, it’s more of a loft type room. There’s no door, which means no privacy. You can easily hear those downstairs. While this was ok for us, it might not be for those seeking privacy. Also, the stairs are VERY steep. I would definitely recommend bringing a baby gate or two if you have little children. The bedrooms were decent sized and the beds were very comfortable. The bedroom upstairs has an upgraded TV, not shown in the picture and it has cable, which is nice. Of the two bedrooms downstairs, only one has a tv, but no cable, just a DVD player (I didn’t see any movies available, but we didn’t really look) I think a great update would be all bedrooms having a TV with cable. The house limit is 8 people, which yes, it can sleep 8 people, probably more, but I wouldn’t say it would be comfortable with 8. The house would be perfect for 6 or less, in my opinion. The hot tub is nice, it could fit 4 or 5 people. Very chlorinated. The BBQ is an absolute safety hazard and should not be used.. I was successful in grilling hamburgers, but it’s not safe at all. The lid is broken and doesn’t close properly, the handle gets too hot to grab, it’s just all bad. Not to mention the BBQ was disgusting and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The Wi-Fi was good, we streamed multiple devices off of it. The kitchen was nice, the microwave buttons are broken, so that sucked. There’s also not any cleaning spray or wipes, which is odd to me. The location of the house is good. It’s 6 minutes driving distance from the village and within walking distance to the park. Overall, I’d say this house is overpriced for what it is, even with it being updated.

Great home with a cabin feel. Quite, very clean, beds are comfortable. Couldn't beat the hot tub after a couple of days of some pretty strenuous hikes.
Timothy H. Jan 2021
This property is really well managed. Check-in and out was a breeze. It was really clean and had all the amenities. Great location.
Caleb I. May 2020
We had a great time, everything was as described and went smoothly. Would definitely stay there again!

This is the first time that we have been to Sunriver and it was great! Lots to do, even when a few inches of beautiful snow gets dumped on you! We had enough space for our family of four. The kids really enjoyed the bunk bed set up as well. Fireplace worked great, so did the hot tub. Echo the comments about the minimal stuff in the kitchen. We heeded those warnings and brought olive oil, containers for left overs, tin foil and plastic wrap, our own pasta pot (with a steamer), a non-stick fry pan (there are a couple, but it isn't non-stick), and cutting knives (again, there is one, but it wasn't great). Also, the bunk bed needs some tightening as it was a bit woobly. We provided that comment back to Vacasa, so hopefully that got fixed.

Check in was easy and the property location was fine. I kept getting a waft of mildew scent and could not figure out where it was coming from. The second day, I was retrieving a toy from under the couch and laying on the floor and could tell this was where this smell was coming from. The house was clean overall, but the bedding needs updating and we would just rate this home as "just OK."

Our family of 5 plus a few high school aged boys loved staying at 2 Cedar Ln. The open upstairs was a great place for the older boys to have to themselves and their was still enough space for all of us down stairs to eat, play and relax. It was also an easy bike ride to the SHARC, village and especially Fort Rock Park.

As I had read in previous feedback, the kitchen isn’t well stocked: no oil, salt, pepper, cooking spray,...But we came prepared. I had also read that the fan supply for the summer was not adequate, which I agree (besides the ceiling fan in the living room, only 2 others), so we brought more fans with us. It definitely cooled off nicely at night which made sleeping more comfortable.

This is a great location, great price and a great house. Thanks for sharing!
Jill F. Jun 2019
Great place with everything you need. Would stay there again.
Patrice B. Jun 2019
We rented 2 Cedar and 3 Cedar together for a larger family gathering. It was a great location and so easy to walk back and forth. The house was very comfortable and everything we needed was there.
Angela L. Jun 2019
House was nice. Had everything you'd need. The upstairs bedroom is open and not as private as I would have hoped. It was also really hot. The blinds in the bedrooms let in a ton of light so you wake up when the sun comes up. This was a major bummer. The beds and pillows we're comfy. Kitchen was nice and had everything I needed. Wish there was recycling.
Bill S. May 2019
good location and clean
stacey m. Apr 2019
We loved our stay at 2 cedar! Everything was very clean and perfect for our family. The hot tub was wonderful and the fireplace was the perfect way to relax after some big days!
Jennifer G. Dec 2018
The house was very clean and well equipped. It was also conveniently located and had a great hot tub!
Megan S. Sep 2018
This home is perfect for a family. It is centrally located with just a short bike ride to SHARC, the Village and Fort Rock Park. Check in and out was easy with no hassles. I would recommend the homeowners add a few cooking supplies ( pots, pans and utensils) and a sound bar or external speakers for the downstairs tv ( the sound quality was not that great). We will definitely be back!
Shon D. Aug 2018
Perfect location, great home. Just wish it had AC for the hot, smoky days we were there.
Joyelle D. Jul 2018
This house was wonderful! It was spotless and well appointed. I would highly recommend this rental.
Lee S. May 2018
Loved the open layout with master suite up. Needed a decent kitchen for party prep and it was perfect. Also loved the proximity to everything. Not to mention the bikes and hot tub!
Random bathroom light coming on in the middle of the night, but we like ghosts :)
Susan F. Feb 2018
Had a very good trip with family from out of town. They had never been to Sun River and liked it a lot. The house was enjoyable and clean....
Really enjoyed the snowshoeing that we did at Mt Batchelor. Other then the change in weather over all great long weekend getaway!
Jason R. Jan 2018
Clean house with no significant issues, we would certainly visit again. The master bed was not super comfortable for us due to the foam mattress.
Rian M. Nov 2017
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday here, would definitely rent this house again. Perfect for our family of four plus a couple of grandparents. Good location, short walking distance to Fort Rock Park is a nice benefit!
Meggan A. Aug 2017
The house was fine, nothing wrong, nothing special. The AC doesn't reach the bedrooms, so none of us slept well, even with the fans that were provided. I'd recommend an alternative property during hot months, but property was otherwise decent and clean.
Steve J. Aug 2017
Our family definitely enjoyed our stay here. We could see that it has been recently renovated and well-cared-for. Yes, you need to bring all your needed pantry items (spices, vegetable oil, etc.), but that is to be expected for any vacation rental. We met a Vacasa manager upon check-out who showed genuine interest in our level of satisfaction. We would be very happy to stay here again.
Sara H. Jul 2017
We had a great stay at this house. With kids who still take naps, we spent a decent amount of time in the house. The location is great. Far enough away from the village to limit traffic but close enough that it's easy to go there for a quick errand. For families considering this house, its baby proof enough. The stairs are a little treacherous if you've got a climber you can't control. Proximity to the SHARC was amazing and we took advantage of the passes every day.
Zachary B. Jul 2017
No bikes, no garbage bags, had to call 3 times to get someone to respond at all (over 24 yours later) Felt like a bare bones experience, very sparse in the way of kitchen necessities - not even salt/pepper let alone anything else there in the way of common condiments. (I left salt and pepper for next person)
Sherri K. Jul 2017
Overall pleased. Would stay here again, but probably not when it's real warm out. Updated nicely.
Stephanie M. Jun 2017
This house was cute and nicely decorated/updated. The hot tub was a huge hit and we appreciated the privacy fence around it, and had we visited in the winter and not the spring, the fireplace would have definitely gotten some use. The house was big enough for six adults (three couples). The biggest downside of this house is the fact that the master suite (located upstairs) has no door and two of the walls are half walls so every sound from downstairs carries up the stairway. This is great if everyone has the same sleep schedules or doesn't mind whispering, but I spent several hours listening to my friends chat into the wee hours of the morning and was unable to fall asleep until they went to bed.
Annie H. Apr 2017
We were at 2 Cedar Lane for Spring Break '17 and while the overall trip itself was far from what we expected (the weather was BAD and our kids had nasty colds so our visions of hiking, skiing, biking, were barely realized), the house was a fine spot for our family. It's got all the basic necessities, it's warm and cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub, the wifi, and the bikes. There are 3 bikes there, so if you're a family of 4 you'll need one more. We'd love to come back to Sunriver and try the whole trip over again, hopefully with better health and weather - and we'd stay in 2 Cedar again without hesitation!
Paul W. Apr 2017
We had the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful home over spring break. Our extended family (including 3 girls ages 2 - 5) felt completely comfortable here. Loved the wrap around deck, warm and private hot tub and wood burning fireplace. The home was super comfortable and a very easy walk to the park for the young ones.
Ben S. Mar 2017
Very nicely furnished and laid out, with super comfortable beds. The bottom 2 bedrooms are right off the kitchen, so you will need to be in the upstairs master suite if you want some separation from the rest of the house. Kitchen has plenty of space to cook and hang out at the same time. The outdoor hot tub was very clean and very hot, the perfect end to a day of snowboarding.

Easy 30 minute drive to Mt. Bachelor. The driveway is very small, but you can squeeze 3 cars if you block 2 in. We would stay here again.
Kyle W. Jan 2017
The pictures make the place look a bit bigger than it actually is. Also, there was no bbq when we arrived, maybe it was the snow covering it or just not proper shoveling done, but no bbq to be found.
Kristin L. Jan 2017
Comfortable, cozy, updated cabin. Hot tub was great especially after the snow storms.
Rachel W. Jan 2017
We throughly enjoyed the beautiful home and surrounding area. We had everything we needed and stayed warm throughout blizzard conditions
Thomas L. Oct 2016
Area around the house was very quiet this time. It's located close to pretty much everything. Hot tub was great to have!
Would definitely stay at this property again.
Kate M. Sep 2016
Aa culdesak close to the park. Loved everything about the house.
John K. Aug 2016
Very nice three bedroom house in beautiful Sun River. We very much enjoyed everything about this property with the sole exception being the A/C, which likely won't be an issue for most going forward. We happened to stay during an incredibly hot time, which I understand is somewhat unusual. We learned that the A/C in this property only really works in the main living room / kitchen area. The master bedroom upstairs has no A/C vents and those in the downstairs bedrooms do not work well (but get some airflow if you leave the bedroom doors open). Overall, this was a great place but future guests should know that the A/C isn't great during hot times.
Christine K. Aug 2016
Very nice spot. Central Oregon is lovely
Lisa C. Aug 2016
Great place!
Kim S. Jul 2016
Our family of four fit comfortable in this home, great location and hot tub was a treat. We were a little surprised that the upstairs doesn't have a door as it is loft style but we made it work just fine. Fabulous family vacation.
Jay S. Jul 2016
Great location near park, very quiet cul-de-sac, all perfect for families.
Tatum D. Jul 2016
The home is darling, updated and very well kept. It was perfect for two couples and three total children. The beds were SO comfortable. The master bedroom is loft style, so you can hear the conversations/noise from the living room/kitchen easily, however. The location is absolutely perfect-both quiet of traffic and an easy bike ride to Fort Rock park. The Sharc and Village are a short bike ride too. It has only the basics for cooking supplies. If you plan to cook, you will need to bring everything (including salt and pepper). The BBQ and outdoor patio set were nice to enjoy dinner outside. The home provides a nice washer and dryer (bring your own laundry soap) which we always appreciate. This property has likely moved up to one of our favorites in Sunriver.
Matthew E. Jul 2016
Excellent house and location. We were traveling with two young kids - 4 and 5 - and the place was perfect for us.
Ali S. Jun 2016
Excellent property, very clean and comfortable- everything was wonderful!!
Brandon T. Jun 2016
This house was very wonderful. We had a most enjoyable time.
Andrew B. Jun 2016
Description was accurate and we enjoyed our stay.
Nina W. May 2016
Our family loved it and will be staying again!
Jennifer B. Mar 2016
Our group of 4 adults and 3 kids found this home to be very cozy. The living space isn't huge but is open and was plenty of room for the kids (age2-6) to romp. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub was perfectly situated as to not tempt the little ones. Although the home is situated fairly close to a few neighboring houses, we were suprised how quiet it was. Proximity to bike/walk path and Ft Rock Park was great for the kids.
Danny L. Sep 2015
Close to Fort Rock Park, 1-2min bike ride! great location will try to stay here on our next trip to Sunriver!!
Holly W. Aug 2015
We loved our stay, were comfortable at every moment, and appreciated the cleanliness of 2 Cedar. It's clear this is a well cared for vacation home. Thank you for sharing your property with our family!
Kevin M. Jul 2015
The house was perfect for all of us. Great location to access the park and sunriver amentities. The living room and hot tub provided great relaxation!
