Rustic waterfront woodland lodge w/ impressive lake views from patio

Experience a winning mix of rustic relaxation and coastal exploration in this private lakeside Rockaway Beach vacation rental, situated right on Lake Lytle (with unobstructed views!), and just a five-minute walk to the ocean.

This nicely decorated two-bedroom retreat is located just off the Oregon Coast Highway. This vacation rental is only three minutes north of downtown Rockaway Beach, with its quaint shops and eateries, and in short distance to other popular Northern Oregon Coast destinations, such as Manzanita, Cannon Beach, and Lincoln City.

With vaulted wood-beam ceilings, wood floors, lots of natural pine throughout the main living area, and a private, forested setting, the home has the feel of an airy, rustic woodland lodge.

Take in views of bucolic Lake Lytle from the home's wide, inviting front porch. Inside the house, enjoy more lake views through the wall of windows spanning the front of the home. Relax in the cozy living room, with its flatscreen TV equipped with a DVD player, DirecTV, and WiFi.

Even the charming cottage kitchen has lake views, and is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Diners can belly up to the kitchen bar on one of four stools, have a seat near the windows in the darling dining area with room for six, or sit outdoors on the covered front porch, which boasts a nice table and chairs for four and a gas barbecue for grilling.

With two bedrooms (offering a king-size bed, a queen-size bed, and twin bunks), a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room, and one bathroom, this home is ideal for a max occupancy of eight guests (six adults). Pets aren't allowed, but bring the kids! A Pack 'n Play is provided for little ones, along with a selection of games for the whole family.

The bedrooms are nicely decorated in cottage style with quilts, soothing wall colors, and private, forested window views. The bathroom features a shower for your convenience. A washer and dryer in the home means you can easily dry wet clothes after a day on the lake or at the beach.

Bring your kayak, canoe or paddle board and hit the lake. And don't forget your fishing pole or your swimsuit. Two beach chairs are provided. In addition to the lake, beachcombers will appreciate the short walk to the ocean, golfers will like the proximity to Tillamook's Alderwood Golf Course just a 20-minute drive away and boarders can enjoy great surf from several nearby beaches.

No matter how you choose to spend your Rockaway Beach vacation, this Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental is sure to please the whole family, or a group of friends with diverse interests...or a shared goal to kick back and relax.
