There's so much to explore beyond Killington as well, from the Thundering Brook Falls Trail (six miles) to Okemo Mountain Resort (25 miles).
After a day spent in the great outdoors, come home to toss a log on the fireplace, snuggle up on the leather sofas, and watch a favorite movie on cable or DVD. (Please be aware that the fireplace is for ambience, not warmth.) Prepare a hearty dinner in the well-equipped kitchen, sit down to eat around the dining room table, and bring your cocoa or coffee outside to the patio afterwards.
