Getting around:
Kona International Airport is about 25 to 30 minutes away. A rental car is recommended for exploring the Kona Coast at your own pace. Keauhou Bay, Kahalu'u Beach Park, shopping, and dining are a short drive away, while downtown Kailua-Kona is farther north along the coast. Parking is generally available on site.
