OVERVIEW

Inviting condo near skiing with lake/beach access, pools, & hot tubs

Tahoe living awaits at this Lakeland Village condo. This waterfront resort community offers year-round amenities and recreational activities, including two outdoor pools, hot tubs, a sauna, private sandy beach access, and a pier within a mile of Heavenly Mountain Resort. Enjoy world-class skiing in the winter and hiking, biking, golfing, and water activities in the summer. Take a short stroll along the shoreline to Ski Run Marina for boat rentals, fishing charters, shopping, and local dining options.

Upon arrival at Lakeland Village, Unit 429 is convenient for parking in the Cedar, Pine, or Dogwood lots. After a short walk from parking and entering the ground floor, you'll find a ski rack and a closet for snowboards or winter jackets. The large bedroom with a king bed, TV, dresser, wardrobe, and chairs is to the left, the half bath to the right, and the full bath at the end of the hallway on the left.

The newly remodeled spacious living room upstairs features a push-button gas fireplace with comfortable seating for enjoying the fire, watching TV, or playing games. Also, enjoy a unique window desk with charging outlets if you need to work while enjoying the view of the ponderosa pines and grassy (sometimes snow-covered) lawn. Skylights, the desk window, and the slider to the furnished deck keep the room cheerfully bright. The ceiling and portable fans will keep you comfortable on warm summer days. The well-equipped kitchen and large countertop will make cooking enjoyable. A French door refrigerator, extra cabinets, and a unique floating wine rack provide ample storage for groceries and beverages. The fridge has an ice maker and cold water dispenser. The dining table seats five, and the counter has four bar stools. The high open beam ceiling, custom cabinetry, mountain decor, and hand-stained wood create a unique ambience.

Up the stairs to the third-level expanded loft, you'll find a queen bed, bunk beds, a dresser, and a sofa for a quiet place to read or nap.

Enjoy a rotating exhibit of the owner's 50 years of mountain photography throughout the home.

There is a Whole Foods Market across the street, a CVS pharmacy next door, and a large Safeway market about three blocks west. A dozen restaurants are within a stroll. A mile East, Heavenly Village and the casinos have dozens more eateries and shopping choices.

Winter weather requires snow tires or chains to reach the Tahoe basin, but you'll find the Lakeland parking lots are typically cleared better than the streets, and the maintenance crew will clear the walkways by mid-morning after a snowfall.
