Salt Pond home in golf community with pools, tennis, & pickleball - near beach

Convenience and comfort combine at this cozy, one-story home, located in a community with an 18-hole, par-61 golf course about three miles from the beach. Salt Pond's many amenities are a short walk from the house, and include a community center with indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a hot tub (depending on the season), a fitness center, tennis, pickleball, basketball, sandlot volleyball, and more. Nearby is a launching area for small boats to access the Salt Pond and the network of canals that connect to the neighboring inlets and eventually to the ocean. Take a stroll along the tree-lined streets in the community or hike/bike/run along the nearby trails. The golf pro shop and grocery store are an easy five-minute walk and the Delaware Seashore State Park is a five-minute drive.

The house is spacious throughout, with hardwood floors in common areas. The family room has vaulted ceilings and plenty of space under the fan. Relax watching cable TV or pop a movie into the DVD player on either of two TVs. If you prefer to entertain elsewhere, the three-season porch offers a pleasant seating space for lively discussions or reading under the fan. The back yard has a patio with gas grill and plenty of room for the kids to run and play. Remote workers will appreciate the desk area in the living room and free WiFi.

The kitchen is large and well-equipped. With early-day sun and a pleasant view of trees and the cul-de-sac, the kitchen is a nice place to be, whether you’re preparing or enjoying a meal.   • Effective January 1, 2024, guest amenity passes will be provided at no additional charge. Fees still apply for golfing. The passes must be picked up and returned to the Vacasa local office and a fee of $50.00 for each lost/unreturned pass will be assessed.
  • Guests must use personal logins for streaming services.
  • The gas fireplace and jets in the jetted tub are not operational.
  • Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.
