After a day on Norris Lake, cool off in the central air conditioning and relax in the home’s comfortable living spaces. Stream your favorite shows on the Smart TV using your own accounts, curl up with a book, or spend time together playing games.

The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and plenty of space to prepare meals for the group. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable, and filled with natural light. Families traveling with children will also find books, toys, coloring supplies, and other kid-friendly extras.

Outside, two levels of waterfront living space provide room to spread out and take in the lake views. As the sun sets over Norris Lake, gather around the firepit for s’mores, stories, and a peaceful end to the day.

⚠️ 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗩𝗔 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀
Norris Lake is managed by the Tennessee Valley Authority, and water levels fluctuate throughout the year based on seasonal conditions and flood-control needs. TVA typically begins raising the lake between late April and mid-May and generally starts lowering water levels between September and October. Timing and water levels can vary from year to year.

The private boat launch is usable when Norris Lake is at or near full pool. The dock’s long gangway helps maintain dock access as water levels fluctuate throughout the summer, but dock and launch availability cannot be guaranteed during the lower level months.

Guests bringing a boat are responsible for checking current TVA water levels before arrival and determining whether the private launch and dock will accommodate their watercraft. If the on-site launch is unavailable, guests will need to use a nearby public launch. Boat trailer parking remains available at the property.

From May through August, the owner’s boat may occupy one side of the dock. Guests will have access to the remaining available dock space.

Guests have access to the entire home, outdoor living areas, kayaks, boat trailer parking, and other guest amenities. The private dock and on-site boat launch are available as TVA water levels and seasonal conditions permit. A few locked areas are reserved for housekeeping and property supplies.

Sunset Cove is located directly on Norris Lake in the peaceful hills of Maynardville, Tennessee. The area is known for boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming, and scenic lake views. Local marinas, public boat launches, parks, hiking trails, and other outdoor recreation can be found throughout the Norris Lake area.

☑︎ Please be aware that from May through August, the host's boat will be docked on one side of the dock. Also, Norris Lake is a TVA-controlled lake and lake levels fluctuate. As a result, the dock and boat launch may not be accessible during non-peak seasons (typically mid-September through April.)
