Take a quick walk to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens for a floral experience.

Ocean-focused and single-level, almost every room in this relaxed, open floor-plan home is designed to maximize beach views. A large westward-facing deck, living room windows, and a telescope in the living room and sound dock allow for hours of whale watching, storm surveillance, and sunset soirees. The viewing room is a masterpiece, with oceanfront full windows, a sizeable Persian rug framed by an ocean-facing sofa, and plush swivel chairs to choose from when taking in the ocean views or participating in what's happening indoors. Victorian-inspired patterns and designs lead you into the second sitting area, again with total ocean views, two sofas in front of a TV with a DVD player, and a wood-burning stove.

The suites have unique features - one has a luxurious, almost decadent ocean-view bathroom with a Jacuzzi for two and a separate walk-in shower with dual showerheads; another has sliding doors to a private deck with ocean views.
