The North Lake Tahoe area also boasts some of the finest ski hills in the country like Diamond Peak (seven and a half miles), Northstar (less than nine miles), Mt. Rose (14.4 miles), Homewood (16.6 miles), Alpine Meadows (16.4 miles), and Squaw Valley (17.8 miles). For hiking and mountain biking, the multi-use Tahoe Rim Trail crosses Highway 267 only three and a half miles from the condo.
