Recent Sugar Mountain vacation rental reviews

The house was absolutely fabulous! Very clean and comfortable! If you love VERY soft beds, you will be in heaven! They provided plenty of towels, blankets, soaps, shampoo and conditioners, hair dryers, dishwashing soap, paper towels, trash bags and kitchen towels for our 2 night stay. The kitchen had everything we needed except a skillet/pan. We scrambled eggs in one of the pots, so no biggie. The stove top runs hot, so keep that in mind when cooking. We really enjoyed watching movies at night with the kids and had plenty to choose from between Netflix, Disney +, HULU and regular cable. All the bedrooms have tv’s in addition to the den. We took our 5 and 12 year old niece and nephew skiing for the first time and thought this house was very close to the slopes. Read different reviews stating “3 minute walk”, “10 minute walk”, “5 minute walk” from slopes. IT WAS NOT! Maybe when there is no or very little snow and you are an adult it can be done. But no way was it possible with the amount of snow they had while wearing snow boots and carrying skiis and poles could you walk to the slopes. Not to mention we had a 5 year old in snow boots and skiis. The snow was way over his little boots! For us, that was the only downside to the condo. It is a very short drive over to the skiing entrance and upper parking lot. We loved the condo and had a wonderful time!! We just would have preferred something closer to the slopes with young beginners. However, that did not hinder their fun in the least. Fun was had by all!! Depending on the weather, you WILL need 4 wheel drive to get in and out of this property. They are not just saying this. They had gotten several inches of snow the day before we arrived and there were guests in other units that could not leave because they did not have 4 wheel drive. They do not salt the parking areas and a snow plow is not an option with cars parked in front of the condos. The plow was able to clear some areas once enough cars had left.

We loved this rental. Perfect location to watch the skiers and to walk right over to hop on the ski lift to ski. Comfortable stay. I would make sure to bring extra trash bags, the ones they supply are extremely cheap and bring all seasonings for cooking. It’s a little out dated and need miner repairs, but very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would rent this unit again. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place!

Condo is located at the base of the beginner slope and close to ticket area. Condo is outdated but suited our needs and we knew that going in. Had an issue with prior guests not checking out ontime, but management handled nicely. Great condo when you are looking for a quick ski trip with the kids (teens in our case.)
