Recent Long Island, NY vacation rental reviews

This place was just right for our visit to East Hampton as it is located just a few minutes from town and is close to the beaches we wanted to visit. A bonus was the beautiful marina at the end of the road where we watched a gorgeous sunset during our stay. The house was affordable, clean and comfortable. I didn’t see any of the issues mentioned in a previous review as we did end up using the AC and it worked fine and the house was tidy. The kitchen floor was definitely new. The price was right and we had everything we needed including a washer/dryer and cozy fireplace. Will definitely stay again.

The house is lovely! All the amenities needed to relax in the Hamptons. Dishes, beach towels, umbrellas, and a grill were provided. The beds were super comfortable and we ended up sleeping in which is unusual for our group. The house is close to the beach, restaurants, and a farmer's market. Surprisingly close to Wolffers vineyard too! We will be back!!!

The location, the roomy deck and the spaciousness for a group. Fire Island itself is a very special place, especially during this off season time.

What to do near your Long Island vacation rental

There are countless attractions to visit no matter where on Long Island you choose to stay. Fire Island sports the Fire Island Lighthouse and Robert Moses State Park—and, of course, the Fire Island National Seashore. If you decide to stay closer to the eastern tip of the island, Montauk, Sag Harbor, and other fashionable towns in the Hamptons boast excellent shops and restaurants. It's also worth visiting quiet and scenic spots like Cooper’s Beach and Hither Hills State Park. And of course, you can always venture into New York City if you need a taste of the concrete jungle.
