Situated on the western shore of Flathead Lake near picturesque Rollins, this mountain and lakeview cabin will put you in a vacation state of mind. This two-story finished log home has space for four to relax, picnic outside by the firepit, or launch a boat from the provided slip.

If you have a sturdy boat, take it out to Wild Horse Island for a day hike and be on the look out for big horn sheep and deer. To the northeast of the home is downtown Bighorn, a charming western village. If you're looking for a little culture, Bigfork Summer Playhouse offers classic live musicals for the whole family. And, throughout the area close by are gorgeous trails and parks for winter and summer adventures.

Built in 1967, this log bungalow offers 600-square feet of cozy comfort. A mix of modern furnishings and retro touches welcome you. As the antique-style wood-burning stove warms the living room, you can sink into the plush couch and watch a favorite DVD or simply enjoy the sun-drenched view.

Off to the side of the living room is the well-appointed kitchen with well-loved wood cabinetry and avocado green appliances. Equipped with the basics you need to fix a family meal, the kitchen also lets you socialize with guests in the living room or at the six-seat table by the windows.

After a day exploring Glacier National Park, you'll find a nice place to rest your head. Pick from the queen bed on the main floor bedroom or get cozy in the loft with two double beds. The first floor offers one-and-a-half bathrooms, one of which boasts amazing vintage wallpaper!

The mini air conditioner in the loft area will add to your comfort during hot summers. During those warm summer days, take out the canoe for a paddle on Flathead Lake or sip lemonade on the grassy lawn. Host a cookout with the gas grill and chat until dusk over the firepit.

A big draw in the area is, of course, Glacier National Park, about 60 miles to the northeast. See some of the most gorgeous sights in the country among the northern Rocky Mountains, from wooded trails to clear lakes. For snow enthusiasts, Whitefish Mountain Resort is about 50 miles to the north for skiing and snowboarding. Outdoors lovers will find a true haven here.
