Located on the Caribbean coast a little over one mile south of Dangriga, you'll enjoy a feeling of isolation and privacy in this charming abode. Relax in leisure in a hammock on the screened-in porch area, or walk a few steps to the surf and golden sand. There's a caretaker on site who will keep the beach clean, and you can take a taxi into town for a small fee, so you won't even need a car!
The cabanas themselves are bright and comfortable, with colorful interiors and full amenities. Featuring studio layouts, you'll have everything you need and enough space that you'll never feel crowded. Each cabana offers a queen bed and a kitchenette with all the essentials to meet your cooking needs, including a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster.
For entertainment, there are books and a flatscreen TV complete with cable and WiFi. Please note that you are in a beautiful isolated beach, which does not mix well with high-speed internet.
A water closet is partitioned by a wood screen for privacy, and you'll find enclosed showers out on the porches of each cabana. An A/C unit and fans keep the homes comfortable in warm weather. A washer/dryer is available for a small fee, allowing for freshening any laundry you may have.
Each cabana will sleep two guests, for a total of four. This rental is for both units, the Yellow Butterflyfish cabana and the Orange Cuttlefish cabana, but you can also rent either one individually if you only need space for two guests.
This home is perfect for a couples' retreat or a group of friends looking for a private spot to relax - enjoy the unbeatable views, or sunbathe in the sand, taking frequent breaks for refreshing dips. You might settle into the hammock with a good novel and read between lazy naps, or gaze out to see in hopes of seeing a dolphin, manatee, or other sea life.
The colorful Garifuna village of Dangriga is just a mile north, easily accessible by taxi, or even a short bike ride. Here, you'll get a glimpse of a unique culture, with local shops, bars, restaurants, and plenty of opportunities for dancing to drum-focused music. For other excursions, sign up for a tour to visit Mayan ruins, trek through a jungle, or catch a boat to one of the neighboring cayes for a true island experience.
