The Gulf State Park Fishing and Education Pier is Alabama’s only public pier on the Gulf. Walking to the west, you will arrive at Gulf Place, Gulf Shores Public Beach. Revitalization was completed in 2018 and this public beach is considered the best public beach park on the Gulf Coast. Here you will find walking paths, shade structures, picnic tables, playground equipment, restrooms, and public green spaces as well as the iconic Pink Pony Pub.
