The vacation home is located just south of the village of Mendocino in a quaint coastal community. Nestled amongst the California Redwood Forest and the Little Salmon Creek, the home is the ideal spot to set back the clock and regain some peace and solitude. A five-minute drive will offer beautiful views of Albion River Bridge, a WWII era wooden trestle bridge, shopping, and oysters and artisan cheese plates at the Ledford House.
This charming getaway has exposed wood ceilings, ornate driftwood carvings, and soft leather touches. The large social areas, including the living room, kitchen, and dining room are upstairs in this second-story vacation home. Feel instantly at ease in the open-concept living room, with its soft leather reclining loveseats and sofa. *This house is surrounded by other homes and all are on private property. Please stay on the immediate rental property while you are there. We know it can be tempting to walk closer to the ocean from the home but the road you see is actually a private driveway and the neighbors will take action if you do so. There is a wonderful beach three miles south on the main highway, across the Navarro Bridge and then a direct right. There is no beach access at this home.
