Recent Whidbey Log Cabins vacation rental reviews

The wood stove and rustic interior is super authentic! Was nice to not have a bunch of unnecessary bells and whistles, but instead just the pure cabin essence. We had a great time!

This home was pretty secluded and quiet. We saw no other people except when we went into town. The tub was large and functioned well. The wood stove was wonderful. If you don't want to burn wood the heater in the unit more than supplied sufficient heat. It was exceptionally clean.

If you want seclusion, this is the cabin for you. It is surrounded by woods, yet about 0.1 mile from a paved county road. There are 4 other cabins on the property, all very secluded, yet easily within a short walk from one another. The log cabin is very rustic, but except for a less than ideal mattress, quite comfortable.

Explore our Whidbey Island Log Cabin rentals

The Whidbey Island Log Cabins are a group of five quaint cabins that have served as a bed and breakfast for over 20 years. The log cabin vacation rentals vary in size, but all share a unique rustic charm you won't find anywhere else on the island. Whether you rent all five cabins together for a secluded wedding or family reunion, or you prefer an intimate getaway with your special someone, you'll love the peaceful, forested surroundings.

Several acres of towering pines, green ferns, and fresh open air await you. Despite the distance from modern stresses, the property is equipped with a solid selection of must-have amenities, including TV, internet access, and even a hot tub in select units.

The tiny town of Freeland makes for a great place to start your Whidbey Island adventure. With a rich history, the quaint town of 2,000 now offers a one-of-a-kind atmosphere for enjoying local fixtures like the driftwood of Freeland Park. More culture awaits at the town of Greenbank to the north, where guests can visit art galleries. Those in search of more local art should make the trek to the Windjammer Gallery in Coupeville, which also serves as a hub for some of the island's best cuisine. Fresh, local seafood stands side-by-side with Italian, Thai, and myriad other cuisines. Don't forget about Anacortes—the bustling port is nearly 50 miles north of the cabins, but the ferry landing lets you explore the stunning San Juan Islands and far-flung cities like Victoria, Canada!
