Come to Ocean Lake and stay in this home and you will know you have 'Found Eden.' Located just 100 yards from the pristine beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and featuring top-of-the-line amenities, an elevator, a gourmet kitchen with double appliances, and your own private pool and hot tub, Eden Found has everything you need to create your own beach paradise!

The ground level features a beautifully decorated media room with a large flatscreen HDTV for streaming movies, puzzles and games, an Xbox 360, and PlayStation 4 game consoles. There is also a wet bar, a refrigerator, an ice maker, and pool-appropriate dishware that makes it convenient for use while at the private saltwater pool, located just outside the sliding glass door. You will love the gas grill as well. Also found on the ground level is a bedroom with two twins, an HDTV, and a full bathroom located in the hall.

The mid-level is home to five luxurious bedrooms, all with private baths. Here you will find three king main bedrooms, each with HDTV, private baths, and deck access. There is another main bedroom with two bunk sets, and rounding out this level is the main bedroom with one bunk set and one doubunk.

The top level offers an open concept with a large great room that has an HDTV with streaming and a gas fireplace. The large gourmet kitchen is equipped with a gas cooktop, two wall ovens, two refrigerators, and two dishwashers. It is equipped with all the things you would need to prepare any family feast all season long. The dining areas will seat 20 guests. Just off the great room is a half bath, and outside on the decks, you can enjoy great vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. There's also a king main bedroom with HDTV and a private bath with a wheelchair-accessible shower and a vanity.

You'll have access to a private saltwater pool, a hot tub, nine HDTVs with streaming, a gas fireplace, free WiFi, two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two wall ovens, an ice maker, a gas cooktop, an Xbox 360, a PlayStation 4, and a gas grill. Our family (with many small children) enjoyed our stay in Corolla at Eden Found. We have done OBX a few years now and this was our first time in Corolla. The beach community entrance is only 30 seconds or less walk, about 5 or 6 houses down. Lots of stairs up and down over the dunes so a wagon is not ideal. We left ours at the house and used bags/ backpack chairs. The pool is small but perfect for a dip after a beach day. (Or for days like we had: when a tropical storm was pushing the ocean up to the dunes and there was no beach to sit on and “no swimming” flags up.) It was still a beautiful week so I am glad we had the pool. There is also the community pool, tennis courts, and a lake a small walk away. I took off one star because the washer and dryer were awful.

The home is lovely. While not on the ocean, it was literally a 2 minute walk to get there. The beach was uncrowded and pristine, the house was comfortable and airy. It was a great location for whatever brings you to the Outer Banks.
However, there were a number of issues we had, from dangerously pulled up floor boards in the kitchen, to numerous maintenance crews coming to do unnecessary work during our stay that left a bad taste in our mouths.
Again, the house and location are wonderful. Whoever is managing it however is doing it a disservice.

This company is such a scam. I've rented with them twice giving them the benefit that the first time was a one off situation. The first time I rented with them was shortly before Covid hit. When I tell you they couldn't have been anymore unaccommodating! Although most of the world was on lockdown at that point they would not let us out of our agreement. They would allow us to reschedule however, if we booked for dates that were more expensive than our original dates we had to pay the difference; yet if we booked for dates that were less than our original dates we did not get a refund of the difference...with! But again, because it was something most of us have never dealt with I assumed the company didn't have a real policy in place and just quickly made something up. Fast forward nearly two years I decided to give them another try and book a large house for a family vacation. The house was advertised with a hot tub and heated pool. A week before our arrival date I received an email stating that if we wanted the pool to be heated it would be an additional $30 per day. I declined and was pretty irritated because that is scammish if the pool was advertised as heated. Upon arrival at the home we immediately noticed the pool was covered. Members of of my party uncovered the pool as it was about 75 degrees every day we were there and wanted to use it. On our second day at the home my two nieces (both 10 yrs old) came running in the house stating a man walked in the yard talking to them and taking pictures. I immediately ran downstairs to see a van with some kind of print pulling off. I called Vacas right away and was told a local manager would look into it and contact me. Upon receiving a call from the manager she informed me it was the pool guy. He reported to them about the cover being removed. My first issue is what person with common sense enters an occupied property, questions children, and begins taking pictures. A normal functioning person would have knocked, identified themselves and spoke to an adult! Secondly, I would love to know why this creep was lurking around the property I rented and paid for?!?! Admittedly I didn't see in the contract that the pool is supposedly "winterized". So I'll take the loss for having to pay to have it "re-winterized". Although it's pretty funny that if we were willing to pay the $30 per day to have it heated it was gladly available to us. Also the charges from the pool weirdo were very trumped up. They're charging $373.63 to re-winterize the pool. When I'm pretty sure he'll go out, drop a few chlorine tablets in and cover it back. From now on my family and I will ONLY rent from hotels. Never have I ever had a problem at a legit hotel!

As indicated in our listing description and confirmation emails, the pool is only available from May 1st-October 8th - and pool heat is available in May, June, and September. The pool was closed and covered during your stay. The pool vendor took photos for proof and to document the damages made. We have addressed the situation with the vendor about not identifying himself and speaking with the children, and we will make sure it doesn't happen again.

As promised, the house was close to the beach entrance, clean, spacious, and well-equipped. With the exception of dishtowels (there were just 2!) the kitchen had everything you could possibly want, and lots of it, including two dishwashers and two refrigerators. Having private bathrooms for each of the 7 bedrooms and a table large enough to seat everyone were wonderful luxuries for our large group. Pool, spa and barbecue were all well-maintained. Pool furniture could use an update. Because of Covid, the beds were made up with only sheets and locating the correct-sized blankets for each bed, despite the careful lists tacked inside each closet of what they should (but mostly did not) contain, proved impossible Nevertheless, this was truly an Eden-like setting for our group of 14.

Our family had such a nice secluded stay during spring break! The kitchen was well-equipped and there was ample space so that no one ever felt overcrowded. The beach was a nice two-minute walk away, and the hot tub was a very nice amenity for the chilly spring weather.

Eden Found is in a great location, with a quick walk to the beach and biking distance from bagels, ice cream, etc. The home was beautiful, had comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, lots of fun puzzles and games, a great hot tub and fireplace- all in all a great getaway even in March!

The house had everything we needed to work/school for a week. The view of the ocean and sound of the waves from the top deck were great, not to mention the amazing fire pit and hot tub. We didn’t want to leave!

We had 14 people and the house is big enough that we never felt crowded. The home is fairly new and the owners thought of almost everything. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. Double appliances in the kitchen is a huge asset. We loved the hot tub and the outdoor gas fire pit. One of our family members uses a walker so the elevator was a blessing. The ocean is visible off the back balconies and the beach is only a 2-3 minute walk away. The marketing pics on VRBO are apparently outdated because it appears as though the house is fairly isolated from neighbors but that couldn't be further from the truth. You will definitely know what your neighbors are doing in their pools and hot tubs, and vice versa as the street is packed with homes (and homes under construction) and they are tightly packed. Our biggest issue was with check in, which was a total fiasco. We drove about 6 hours to arrive at the house at 4pm, which was check in time. A couple hours earlier I had received an email which said the door code was enclosed in the email. It wasn't. I figured they'd send me the code just before check in. They didn't. We called at 3:45pm when we were about 15 minutes away, and other family members were already sitting in the driveway. The person who answered spent about 10 minutes trying to find our account and then trying to figure out where our code was. She said she was in Florida and she would contact the local OBX reps and they would call or come over. That was Friday. It's Monday night and I have yet to see or hear from a local rep. By now we were on site so we waited. After not hearing from anyone, and being totally embarrassed by the situation in front of our friends and family, we called again. This time another person answered and she said she could see that a code was not generated for our house. After about 10 minutes she gave me a code and it worked, and we got into the house after waiting outside about 40-minutes. After driving that far, and having the house (and bathrooms) unavailable as promised, our weekend started out on the wrong foot. I told the phone representative that I thought we should at least get a late checkout for our inconvenience and embarrassment. She said she would pass it on. Again, I am still waiting for a reply. Nothing against the homeowners or the property. It is wonderful and we'd probably rent it again, except that means we'd have to work with Vacasa, and I am afraid they've lost a customer.
