Expansive Home with Fire Pit, Wet Bar and Screened in Porch & Private Washer/Dryer

A gorgeous modern interior, several spacious decks, and a well-stocked media room make this beautiful, seasonal Edgartown vacation rental an ideal destination for your next family reunion or large group getaway on Martha's Vineyard during the summer. Scenically tucked into a forest of pine trees, this luxury three-bedroom home maintains a natural and secluded atmosphere despite its close proximity to bike paths, beaches, and downtown Edgartown only one mile away. With cozy seating areas and large gathering spaces on each of its three levels, this home will provide families and friends with plenty of room to relax around the massive stone fireplaces, enjoy indoor and outdoor meals together, and retreat to a bit of privacy at the end of the day. There's even a large flagstone patio space for outdoor entertainment, where you can recline on the deep sofas as the kids roast marshmallows over the stone firepit!

Upstairs in the large farmer's kitchen, groups can prepare meals together on the six-burner gas stove while sampling wine and cheese around the marble island. Enjoy an intimate breakfast, morning coffee, or dinner among the tree tops on the enclosed outdoor deck. Hosting full family gatherings is easy at the large table in the expansive open dining room. Downstairs, guests will gravitate toward the plush entertainment room, which features a flatscreen cable TV and Blu-Ray and DVD players for quiet nights at home. Catch up with your friends over a glass of wine and plates of appetizers at the wet bar. As the kids roast S'mores around the outdoor firepit after dinner, the parents can enjoy warm evenings swinging in the hammock or curling up with a good book on one of several decks. Entertain your guests with a game of cards or bumper pool on the media room’s game table, or burn off a few calories on the exercise room's treadmill.

This home has private, comfortable sleeping space for as many as eight adults. The master suite features a queen bed, a stone fireplace, a flatscreen TV, access to a private deck, and an en suite full bathroom. Two additional bedrooms have a queen and a full bed. A fourth features a twin-over-full bunkbed, and the fifth has a twin day bed with a trundle. A small loft offers a place for the kids to escape and play video games or hide and seek! Guests will have access to two additional full bathrooms, including one with a luxurious soaking tub, as well as two half-baths. And while the hardwood floors and intricate stonework give this home tons of old New England charm, the free WiFi, private washer and dryer, and central AC ensure that guests have every modern comfort.

Spacious house and very comfortable. Loved the location. So close to Edgartown, the beach and shopping.

Location 1.5 miles from Edgartown harbor. Great privacy felt like you were in the wilderness, used the fire pit a couple of nights. House had all the amenities you need. Plenty of space to get together or read a book on your own. We rented bikes, toured the island and Chappaquiddick and even walked home from Edgartown restaurants. Uber is available as well. Short ride to beaches and Oak Bluff. House has WiFi, cable TV and central A/C. Overall everyone in our party was very happy with the accomadations.

Let me start by recommending that you find this place while it’s daylight outside. It is VERY difficult to find the first time in the dark. The rooms are spaced nicely with plenty of room to spread out. The little kids hideaway loft is perfect. The light switches were a little weird but we managed to figure it out. The kitchen is well equipped. The fire pit is fantastic to roast s’mores. I’d recommend that you buy starter logs though. The patios and hammock were all used by our party of nine. The washer and dryer worked but we couldn’t figure out the dishwasher. Lastly, I’d recommend spacing out the showers if you have a large party. The hot water doesn’t last very long. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely stay here again!!

Don was very helpful and patient. The house was all we expected and more. Hope to stay again.

This house is very large, well decorated and close to Edgartown. We loved everything about it except that we felt cut off from getting our questions answered and needs met immediately. The first night we were there it was chilly and we needed extra blankets. We could not find any spare ones. We called the 800 number and were told someone would get back to us. No one did. The next day I was unable to operate the barbecue and had to cook our steaks inside. I called again and put up a fuss. Within a few hours a person delivered spare blankets, cleaned the barbecue, which was quite dirty, and texted me to let me know how it operated. Apparently there is no local agency if there are problems. That is what I was told the first time I called but miraculously after my second ‘firm’ call, someone showed up. Otherwise everything was great and we had a wonderful time!

Great stay however this is not the house we booked originally, when we arrived late in the evening, we found the Property we were going to stay at Hadad building site at the rear.
The local rep arranged for us to move the next day to a different property which whilst nice was about a mile from anything so you would need a car if staying here.

Lovely, big home, great for large groups. My mother and I stayed there for a week in 2017 during tropical storm Jose and had a great time despite the bad weather. The outdoor fire pit was our favorite part of the house. Caretaker was very quiet and stayed out of the way.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Great porches for relaxing and close enough to town to walk.

We rented this property for a week with 8 adults and 2 kids. What we enjoyed most about the house was that there was plenty of space for everyone to have quiet time and space to get together for meals. The house has an interesting design with an addition that is accessible only on one side of the house. None of us felt that the beds were comfortable. The rooms were a decent size but two were not private because the door does not go to the ceiling so the house was very noisy on one side. The outdoor furniture was not comfortable. Just a few cushions and most were dirty. The kitchen needs to be updated. No bikes available-which would have been a nice touch. Overall, we would not return and I think we could have gotten much more for the price elsewhere. On the plus side, the walk to downtown Edgartown wasn't bad-it takes about 25 minutes or so. Also, the supermarket and State beach were a quick drive away.

The house was amazing, the location and everything in it. The vacasa staff was great, very helpful. It was our first time and we love it!! We 'll for sure be back.

Great house with a lot of room. The house has a fresh coat of paint everywhere and housekeeping does a good job giving the house a clean and fresh look. The bathrooms were all updated and clean.

We found the kitchen to be a little underwhelming. Not a bid deal because we ate out every meal except for pancakes one day. A sign in the kitchen read "Keep the Kitchen Clean, Eat Out." That may be your best strategy for this house.

Lots of outdoor furniture that we enjoyed!

We found the house a little difficult to find in the dark. A rock marks the driveway. It is across from the "basketball hoop and old jeep."

Once you acquaint yourself with the layout of the rooms, it is nice to have two distinct 'wings' with the communal dining area. This is not a house for people with difficulties climbing stairs.

The house had a lot to offer us! The property is located in a very quiet peaceful area in the woods. The staff a Vacasa were very helpful and accommodating with us to try and get us in the house earlier than the 4 pm check-in.
I would not hesitate to use Vacasa again and rent this house. Thank you for a great getaway!
