Single-Level Cottage with Free WiFi Near the Historic Boise Train Depot and BSU

Charming and well-designed, the Rose Hill Cottage has everything you could want for your next Idaho escape, from shiny hardwood floors and comfortable bedrooms to a wonderful location on the Boise Bench. Inside, you'll be greeted by a laid-back living room, complete with a flatscreen TV, a cozy leather sofa, and a matching chair. When the weather's warm, there's a yard right outside the back door, where you can use the gas grill to whip up a barbecue feast.

Here on the Boise Bench, you'll be a pleasant walk from Ann Morrison Park and the Boise River Greenbelt. This home is also less than two miles from downtown and Boise State University, making this a perfect home base for visiting students and those attending campus events. Take a walk to the historic Boise train depot, which is on the National Register of Historic Places and offers public tours, park grounds, and gardens with lovely city views. Boise is also home to many tree-lined public parks, eateries, craft breweries, museums, and hiking and biking trails. Spend a summer day exploring the Greenbelt along the Boise River; come winter, go skiing and snowboarding at Bogus Basin Recreation Area just 20 miles north.

The house was very clean and well stocked. Beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. We spent a lot of time downtown and the driving access was quick and easy. Perfect for space for 2-4 people.

This property is cute and comfortable, located in a nice and quiet neighborhood! It has all the amenities you can expect to feel at home.

It was only one minute to my daughter's house the only thing I didn't like was the $200 in other fees and how when I first looked at it it was $70 then when I went to pay for it it was $100 a night. I also liked the privacy compared to a motel and the back private area.

Very clean, well-equipped full kitchen, lots of towels, comfy beds, easy parking, convenient location. Would definitely choose it again.

Nice quiet neighborhood. Cute little house with everything you could need. The only issue was no central air. Only ac was a window unit in the living room. Thankfully the nights were cool.

We were very pleased with our stay here. It was very clean and the linens smelled so wonderful! Easily accessible from the airport and the University. One thing I would like to point out is there is only one mirror in the entire house, so if there is more than one woman staying in the house, someone may want to bring a travel mirror. The surrounding area felt safe and clean, but we felt there was a lot of traffic at night and early in the morning. If you are used to traffic noise, it shouldn't be a problem. That is the only reason we wouldn't stay here again. We hardly got any sleep. But, otherwise, it's a great place to stay!

Having access to a kitchen was our main reason to choosing a VRBO. Even though we only used it a few times, it has mostly everything we needed.
Kathy M. Oct 2016
We were in town for our daughters wedding at the Boise Depot. The location was perfect. The house was nicely updated, clean and comfortable.

Stayed there 8/27/16-9/4/16. The accommodations were very nice, clean and quiet. Much better than a hotel. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this place to a small family or two couples. Made our vacation very relaxing. We will be back!

Overall the Vacasa experience was excellent. The value met our needs perfectly. We also made use of some of the vegetables in the garden. We would rent from Vacasa again if the opportunity comes up. The reservation system is very impressive.

It was a very comfortable home to stay in. We will stay here again and would recommend it to people.

This was a very nice little house that my family of three enjoyed during our stay in Boise. It was clean and easily accessible, and a nice home base to stay at while we visited relatives. Thanks to the owners for offering an extended stay (we couldn't take them up on it since we had plane tickets, but it was a nice gesture).

Good Value. Better than a hotel.

This house was everything promised and more. Very nicely updated, spotless, quiet, plenty of off street parking, with wonderful beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, including an ice maker and fresh ice in the freezer. There were night lights, flashlights, a brand new grill with a full tank, extra blankets, an efficient furnace with easy to use thermostat, everything we needed was already there. We visited in early spring during a cold snap, and the house was comfortable the whole time. The towels are thick, thirsty, huge, and felt wonderful. We'd come back after a busy day, watch a little Netflix, and sleep soundly. Just what we wanted. Hope the roses are blooming on our next visit.

If yo want a centrally located 2Br/1ba house that is VERY clean and quiet, this is the one for you. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I plan on utilizing it again when I am in Boise.
