Cozy & Secluded Sunriver Cabin with SHARC Access - Surrounded by Beauty & Nature

This charming, one-bedroom loft Sunriver vacation rental is stocked with everything you'll need for a restful and adventure-filled resort getaway! This cute and welcoming retreat is filled with books, a wonderful wood-buring fireplace for toasty nights by the fire, and of course, access to all of Sunriver's amenities like SHARC (the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center), miles of hiking and biking trails, horse stables, tennis courts, and more!

This location at Sunriver is just over 15 miles from Bend, where you can spend the day exploring the shops and galleries along Wall and Bond streets, check out the local brewery scene, or spend an afternoon wandering through exhibits at the High Desert Museum. Sisters (38 miles north) is also an option for a fun day trip, and in winter the drive to Mt. Bachelor only takes about 30 minutes. You can even catch a shuttle right from Sunriver (a nominal fee applies).

Your woodland cabin is a pleasantly-updated, rustic getaway with exposed wood beams, wood paneling, and a warm and inviting interior throughout. Come back from skiing or hiking to a spread of appetizers out on the coffee table and a glass of wine in front of the fire. Entertainment options here include WiFi, cable TV, a DVD player, and a stereo - plenty of choices for when you're not out taking advantage of all of Sunriver's activities.

The compact but fully-stocked kitchen includes all major appliances (including a dishwasher), as well as gadgets like a coffee grinder and a toaster. Make a filling brunch before you head off on a nature hike or sleigh ride and at night, dinner can be at the large wooden dining table, if you want to stay in. Out on the deck, you'll also have a gas grill for sunny afternoon, outdoor feasts.

The bedroom and loft hold a king-size bed, a queen, and one twin, making this Sunriver getaway ideal for a maximum of six guests. With large beds for two couples, the sofa and twin bed can accommodate up to two kids. There is a half-bath in addition to the full bathroom for added convenience, and a stacked washer and dryer in case you need to do laundry during your vacation.

Set on over 3,000 acres in Oregon's high desert, Sunriver is filled with activities for every member of your family! There are pools, hot tubs, and saunas at SHARC, golf courses, 26 tennis courts, 40 miles of paved, multi-use trails, and the restaurants and shops of Sunriver Village Mall.

Mt. Bachelor is close enough to spend your days skiing and snowboarding, and if you just want to stay close to the resort, you can take a unique one-horse open sleigh ride, complete with a festive, Victorian sleigh and gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and Sunriver Meadow. It's about an hour's drive to Fort Rock State Natural Area if you want to do some rock-climbing or just hike around this gorgeous natural area. But really, you may just spend all of your time at the resort - hiking, biking, and relaxing in your cozy cabin in the woods.

Plan an unforgettable Sunriver adventure with a stay at this Central Oregon vacation rental for fun in the sun, a skiing retreat, or just a family getaway to enjoy deluxe resort amenities.

Please be aware that the Sunriver SHARC center has implemented new rules and regulations regarding occupancy, amenities, and access. Please see their website for more details.

Everything was ready to go and in good working order. Enough room for myself and two kids.
Amanda H. May 2022
This cabin was cute and had everything we needed, our 2 and 4 year old enjoyed the upstairs landing room. We loved the use of the sharc facility and all of the bike paths!
darrell b. Jan 2022
Felt like a cabin with nobody close like in a condo.
Steven M. Dec 2021
House was great, the fireplace was out of order during our stay, but that is being addressed. Good location, quiet, 2.5 miles from Village.
William A. Oct 2021
Marian M. Sep 2021
Cozy, like a lakeside or mountain cabin. Master bedroom is on the main floor and is spacious. The loft area has the double bed and a twin, but with lots of space and their own bathroom with a bathtub (no shower).
Jennifer M. Jun 2021
Loved how quiet this cabin was. Perfect location near Sharc and park.
Keith M. May 2021
Good location with easy access to paved trails, stores, restaurants near by. Home needs blinds fixed and new bed in bedroom. Quiet and peaceful area.
Brian S. Apr 2021
Great little cabin, great location. Would have rated it a 5 but the VACASA deep clean was again disappointing. For example, they left old dirty bars of soap out rather then changing them out. In our previous VACASA rental at a different property in Sunriver it was also dirty the most egregious example was the hair in the bathtub. I like the properties but hope to find them cleaned better before we arrive.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us! We are sorry to hear of the disappointing experience you had with us. Our apologies to hear about the cleaning details that were amiss. We have passed along your feedback to the local housekeeping staff and manager so they are aware of your comments, and can work to correct this for future guests. We appreciate your feedback as our guest’s comfort is very important to us. We look forward to having the opportunity to host you for a much more enjoyable stay.

Delighted to find a real old cabin retreat in Sunriver. We enjoyed the grandma’s house feel while appreciating newer appliances and the obvious money spent on excellent plumbing and fixtures. We took more than our share of the woodpile as Fall weather kicked in and there is nothing better than a crackling fire, a warmed stone fireplace and a comfy rocker. If you are all about push buttons and high tech this cabin is not for you. Leave it for us everything homemade types. Proximity to Fort Rock Park a huge plus for active families. Hope we can come back one day!

For the price, this is a wonderful place to stay. The lock box on the front was impossible for us to open (# to call and they helped with backup) and backing out of parking was not easy, but the place is clean and charming. Rustic but most comfortable. The directions need to state that home is 2nd little cul de sac on Quartz Ln. MapQuest will take you to street but not exact house.
Amy V. Aug 2020
We really loved how this cabin felt like a mountain dwelling. Even though other homes in Sunriver may have more glam, (meaning they are almost like any other residential home) we felt like we were getting away to the cabin in the woods. It’s the perfect size for a couple or a small family. It’s located in a great location. We walked to Fort Rock tennis courts each morning and played tennis. Make sure you call and make a tennis reservation during the age of Covid. There is no other way to access the courts. We had a great time, and we would stay here again.
Thomas T. Jul 2020
Cozy little place, very quiet.
Eve-Maridy R. Jul 2020
This is a great family-friendly 5-star property in Sunriver. The house itself is rustic, but perfectly suited to a family of 4. Please note, the kitchen is incredibly small, so don't plan a Thanksgiving dinner here. Otherwise, everything was perfect! The property backs up to a beautiful outdoor space as far as the eye can see. It's also an easy 5 minute walk to the SHARC. Highly reccomended!
blackhills4us H. Jun 2020
This really is a nice little cabin. Very nice bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Everything you need in the kitchen. The washer dryer was a plus. Used the fireplace on chilly days. The loft was also nice for our children who visited. The driveway is a bit challenging to back out of.
Cliff H. Mar 2020
Quiet, relatively secluded - yet within an easy walk of the Resort area (Sharc, Great Hall, etc). Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
Stephen H. Feb 2020
The house was absolutely amazing. Everything was great. It’s as stated in their description. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking to rent in the Sunriver area.
John S. Sep 2019
Good home base for exploring the area. We like rocking chairs and they had them.
Michael B. Aug 2019
Fantastic location to main pool. Having SHRC passes included nice bonus. Cabin while older, is cozy and clean. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is small but well equipped with modern appliances and is we'll stocked. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again.
Teri R. Aug 2019
The location of the house was great, once we managed to get there. GPS had a hard time, there is a house number 7 close to this one.

The house was the perfect size for 2 friends on a girls weekend, we each had our own space and bathroom.

We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio.
Peter R. Jun 2019
Cozy and clean. We had a great time. Close to the aquatic center and village.
Rose L. May 2019
The bed in the loft was amazingly comfortable!!! The tubs are large enough for grown ups to bathe in, perfect for relaxing after a long day.
The housekeeper did an amazing job!!!!
James H. May 2019
Very nice quiet little cabin
James K. Apr 2019
Felt like an old cabin with all the comforts of today. Beds were great. Kids had a blast. Everything we needed was there. 2 small negatives: Trouble using the TV. And a couple rolls of old carpet in carport.
Will definately stay again!
scott g. Nov 2018
Great cozy place!
Jennifer F. Oct 2018
The cabin was sparkling clean and so close to everything! We had a relaxing and fun stay!
Elise G. Sep 2018
Quiet, homey.
Was given wrong lockbox code by Vasca. One chair was broken.
Otherwise we had a good stay.
Manager response:
We apologize for the issues this guest encountered. We have ensured we are providing guests correct check-in information, and we are working on replacing the broken chair. Thank you!
Richard C. Sep 2018
The House was well laid out and comfortable. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with utensils. Location is quiet and near bike paths. Everything worked fine.

Unfortunately, the property was not clean and needs maintenance done. There was food on the carpet when we arrived. The seal on the sliding glass door was broken and moisture on the inside obscured the view. Shower door was broken. The carpets are stained everywhere and need to be replaced. No sugar in kitchen. No storage containers for food, food wrap, or sealable bags.

I’m not a very critical person and the cabin was still livable. We had a great time. It’s just that the property need so much up keeping, it was hard to ignore. Just wanted to let you all know what your getting for your rental and cleaning fees.
Manager response:
We have started our fall deep cleans in this area and will have this home taken care of soon. Maintenance is scheduled to address the shower door and sliding door. Thank you!
Kathy F. Jul 2018
This was my second visit to 7 Quartz, first being in May. It was much warmer this time around and would have been nice to have a fan or two to help with the heat. Also, the house wasn't cleaned very well, but Vacasa came in and took care of the issue. Having said that, I love this little cabin and will be returning in September for a third stay. The location is very close to paths and the park, which we love. It's very cozy and I'm sure we'll be returning with many more visits.
Jill D. Jul 2018
Rustic little cabin with all the necessities. We arrived on a very warm day to find the cabin refreshingly cool and comfortable. From the relaxing beds(fit our family of 4 perfectly) to the out door patio, we felt right at home. We cooked most meals in- using stove, oven, microwave, and even the bbq gas grill. Also after spending our days floating, biking, golfing, swimming, etc... it was fabulous to come back to hot showers(hot water did not run out on 4th person) and the ability to launder our clothes and towels for the next outing/day. We left spoiled being able to walk within a 1/2 mile to either Fort Rock Park, the SHARC, or The Sunriver Village. Definitely would return!!!

Our family of 4 had four nights of quiet, comfortable sleep and enjoyed the close proximity to the sharc and the village. The house was clean and had ample bedding, toiletries, and kitchen supplies. We
would stay here again.
Cary H. Jun 2018
Cabin life at its finest!
Kathy F. May 2018
The cabin was perfect. We loved our stay and will be booking a return soon.
MARY G. May 2018
Even though the cabin was small, everything was laid out well. The kitchen sink faucet was leaking when turned on, but it did not cause any problems for us. We left a note pertaining to it.
Stefan K. Apr 2018
Very nice cabin with all the amenities for vacation stay. Quiet and pretty location.
Andre S. Feb 2018
I had a great time in SunRiver. Vacasa did a great service.

Thank you!!!!
Sally R. Dec 2017
This is the second year my husband and I came to 7 Quartz to rent for a week in the winter and meet our son's family at Sunriver. This smaller home has the charm of a cabin in the woods, authentic wood paneling, showing a little wear, but we don't need the big new homes with fancy granite counters that often lack that cozy feeling. The appliances are all upgraded, so the stove, refrigerator and washer-dryer setup are great. The kitchen is fully equipped with many pots and pans of all sizes. Fireplace is great and lots of wood outside. Entrance car park area is protected from any ice or snow. The master king bed is very comfortable. Upstairs loft area would work well for children. We walked through the woods to our son's rental on the next court. Highlights- Sage Spring Club for fitness equipment, walk to nearby Fort Rock Park, and a visit to the free Ginger Bread House display at the Lodge during Christmas season. Roadways were kept well cleared of snow or cindered during our stay.
Eric S. Nov 2017
Staying in this house brings back the old fashion charm and spirit of going away to a vacation cabin in the woods. Small enough to make it feel cozy and intimate, but, large enough to be able to spread out all the wet ski gear.
Rebecca M. Oct 2017
The home was everything I was hoping for - comfy, cozy and beautiful. I came to Sunriver for some hiking but also for relaxation so this fit perfectly. Can't wait for another stay!
Robert E. Sep 2017
It is hard to find a small rental in Sunriver that is sized for a couple but this one bedroom plus loft is ideal since the loft works very well for two or three children. The house is a little dark after the sun goes down even tho there are several lamps .
Joshua H. Aug 2017
Our family of five stayed in this cabin for two nights and enjoyed the Sunriver area. This home is very comfortable and we were especially impressed with the quality of the bed in the master bedroom. The downstairs bathroom and shower could use some updating but was still very clean and perfectly functional. The kitchenette was fully equipped and we really appreciated having a washer and dryer in the home. The cul de sac was very quiet and peaceful and very close to both SHARC (passes included in the cabin) and Sunriver Village. We would stay here again!
Laura P. Aug 2017
A nice cozy place to enjoy the high desert! Plus Sunriver Brewery has great beer!
Anna A. Aug 2017
Super cozy house. Had everything we needed. Vacasa representative was always available a phone call away. Bedroom downstairs and upstairs loft. Our almost 3 year old slept upstairs and we slept downstairs. There were 2 beds upstairs which was convenient. Loved the outdoor area with the tables and chairs for dinner. Loved going on a walk around the neighborhood. Park nearby and biking/running/walking trails everywhere. Just a 7 min drive from the SHARK and village.
Patricia B. Jul 2017
The cozy cabin was the perfect location for my relaxing vacation. My house was so charming and comfortable I had a really nice time.
Leon L. Sep 2016
Lovely cabin in the woods. Perfect place for a late summer getaway.
Jen C. Sep 2016
We were very happy with our visit. The cabin looks exactly like it does in the pictures which was very warm and cozy. We would stay here again any time.
Jason N. Aug 2016
The cabin was an amazing getaway for my son and I. We loved the cabin feel and the setting is amazing.
Heidi B. Aug 2016
Vacasa did a nice job with the reservation process, check in/out, and updated emails.
Mary P. Aug 2016
This place was very cozy. The park is nearby and neighborhood was quiet. It was not far from all the fun to be had in Sun River. If you are looking for a comforting place that feels like family, this is the perfect place to stay.
Sherry S. Aug 2016
Good location and very quiet setting.
Scott C. Aug 2016
We enjoyed our time here. The house was quite completely furnished and everything worked well. For those interested in biking around, you should know this house is almost on the highest point in Sunriver. :-) But that really isn't that high.
Joseph M. Jul 2016
The location is perfect for parking the car and riding everywhere! The cabin is comfy and has all of the basics needed for a great stay.
Signe W. Jun 2016
Great little cabin and met our needs. Upstairs BR is tub only. No shower.
Sally R. Jan 2016
We stayed for a week at Christmas during lots of snow, and it was wonderful and so beautiful. The roads were cleared very well and even all the bike/walking paths were plowed!
Larry O. Oct 2015
We could live in house.
Wenche W. Oct 2015
Cozy cabin, yet comfortable, roomy and welcoming. A great place to relax in front of the fire place after long hikes at Mount Bachelor or after other outdoors activities.
Craig S. Sep 2015
The house was comfortable and cozy.
RYAN E. Jul 2015
This house was perfect for our family of 3. Very clean and cozy. We can't wait to go back. Our only complaint....our trip was too short! :)
Earl B. Jun 2015
The furnishings were a bit dated but it is a great little cabin in a very quiet area. The barbeque was great. Also there were plenty of kitchen supplies and cookware. I would stay here again.
Stephanie G. Apr 2015
My brother's family and my family NEEDED a weekend away. On a whim, we selected this charming cabin. It was absolutely perfect.

When my brother was unpacking groceries, he kept exclaiming "They have ..." A wok, more pans than we'll ever need, .... I must've heard 3 or 4 exclamations of all the kitchen equipment the cabin had.

Thank you so much for the use of the Sharc passes. The kids loved the indoor pool. They want to go back after May so they can try the lazy river. We were too early in the season for it to be open. But, they got to play in the snow which was the whole reason for the trip.

The surrounding area was lovely. We even saw 2 deer Sunday morning as we were packing the car to leave.

Thank you so much for sharing the cabin with us.
Kimberly E. Apr 2015
The cabin was a perfect spring break/Easter getaway for our family of four. Very quiet. Small kitchen is well equipped. The kids (5 & 11) enjoyed sharing the upstairs loft area. The early April weather was sunny with highs around 45. We spent the day on our bikes looping around Sunriver, stopping to play - Ft. Rock Park, northern Sunriver at Deschutes River, over the bridge & back, Nature Center, across the meadow, dessert/beers at the Lodge, SHARC rock climbing wall, Brewery for dinner, home again. Next time we'll loop the southern end of Sunriver. We were comfortable in the sun with gloves and medium weight jackets. Clouds rolled in, so we skipped our planned trip to the observatory that night.
Chelsea W. Mar 2015
This cabin had everything we needed! Super cozy and was in a nice quiet spot. Well cared for property. Only thing missing... The dishwasher was broken. Not a huge deal but it did mean we were washing dishes a lot to keep on top of them so we didn't have a ton to do before we checked out. Overall we'd definitely stay here again.
Manager response:
Thanks for sharing your 5 star review with us. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for the info on the dishwasher. Our local staff will follow up and ensure it's repaired right away!
Elizabeth H. Mar 2015
Our total experience was one of the best experience we have had at Sunriver. ...even the resort didn't compare this time! We can wait to come back. This home worked great for my husband and I on our trip. It was a little dark in the home and smelled a little like a camp fire but it was cozy and clean...we would definitely recommend this cabin at Sunriver and booking with was super easy easy working with them...they were friendly and resourceful!
Amy M. Mar 2015
The cabin was perfect - so clean and well stocked, VERY comfortable. The towels were so soft and the beds very comfy. We had one small complaint and the Vacasa staff immediately fixed the issue. We will return!
Alan J. Jan 2015
A nice place to stay and very comfortable. We loved the rustic atmosphere and considered it our ski chalet in January. The huge fireplace really makes it cozy. The house also backs up to a green way with bike-walking path area with no houses immediately behind. Fort Rock park is just a few minutes away. It was very quiet this time of year in Sun River.
