The lifts at Palisades Tahoe are really just outside your door! You'll be able to play on 3,600 skiable acres, perfect for downhill skiing and snowboarding. Hop on the base-to-base gondola to access nearby Alpine Meadows. The Village at Palisades Tahoe is home to shops, spas, and restaurants. Everything from French crepes to hearty sandwiches at Dave's Deli. After skiing, lounge around a firepit with mugs of hot cocoa or have drinks at KT Base Bar. In the summer, there are just as many activities to choose from in Olympic Valley - cycling along the paved bike trail to Tahoe City (there's bike rental right at the Palisades Tahoe resort) or boating on Lake Tahoe. For a great half-day hike, follow the trail down to Shirley Canyon, past waterfalls and large granite boulders. The par-71 championship golf course at the Resort at Squaw Creek will keep the golfers happy.
