The full kitchen features all full-size appliances (including a dishwasher), and the open design means everyone can help out with cooking. You'll be comfortable in the central air conditioning when it's sunny outside, even up in the semi-private loft. The upstairs bedroom features an en suite bathroom and a shared full bath and half-bath await downstairs, so there won't be any lines in the morning. Grill (or just kick back) on the screened-in porch, or head out to the screened-in gazebo. Light up a fire in the firepit, or walk down to the Toccoa River and enjoy fishing from your own private dock. There's so much to enjoy in this friendly home by the river.

What's nearby:
If you're in the mood for lake fun, Lake Blue Ridge Marina (and downtown Blue Ridge) lies just two-and-a-half miles away. The Aska Adventure Area (eight miles away) is a hiking-mountain bicycling trail system 17 miles in length, developed on National Forest lands near Deep Gap on the Aska Road in south-central Fannin County. Trails range in length from one mile to five and a half miles and are open to the public year-round. Trails ascend to near 3,200 feet, providing vistas of mountain ridges and descend to the shores of Lake Blue Ridge. If your group includes younger guests, the Lilly Pad Village provides beginner-friendly fishing, mini-golf, and gem mining fun just nine-and-a-half miles away.

This is a nice cabin in a convenient location. We loved the screened-in porch and the view. It's very private and peaceful. There's lots of space and it's well equipped. The biggest downside to this place is the distance to the neat little fishing dock. The trail to the dock is steep, long, and treacherous! Getting there with fishing gear would be practically impossible. We had looked forward to fishing but making the trek once down just to check it out was a big challenge to our family (Mom, Dad & 2 teens). If you have family members that are young children, elderly, or have health problems they will not make it up and down the trail.

We are very happy with our stay here! The whole cabin was very clean when we got there and well stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful view from the back porch. Had fun walking down the trail from the cabin to the river, and loved seeing an otter. Was so fun to watch the deer come out into the wide open space next to the river. We only had one issue with an appliance but Vacasa customer service immediately took care of it. (Vacasa has the best customer service and cabins so we only stay in their cabins when we come to the mountains!!) We loved that the road to the cabin was not steep and narrow like a lot of other mountain cabins. Was only 10 min away from downtown. Master bed was so comfy! Kids had fun playing in the little loft room. Overall, very happy w cabin!
