Ideally situated within walking distance of the beach and the Deer Harbor Marina, this comfortable cottage will give you excellent access to the serene landscapes and beautiful shorelines of Orcas Island. This cottage - part of the charming Deer Harbor Inn - is perfectly outfitted for hikers, kayakers, anglers, and whale-watchers alike, providing you with a gas fireplace, a hot tub private to the cottage, and two porches. On the grounds of the Inn, you'll also find lovely community amenities that include a picnic area with a grill, a horseshoe pit, and a deck.

The five-acre Deer Harbor Inn is located on the quiet west side of Orcas Island, a quick and scenic eight-mile drive from the island's ferry terminal, which can easily connect you to Anacortes, Friday Harbor, Lopez Island, and Shaw Island. When you're not observing the local deer, rabbits, and bald eagles, you'll be able to walk to the on-site Deer Harbor Restaurant quickly, a public beach, a variety of trails, a kayak park, and the Deer Harbor Marina (half a mile south) if you're looking to get out on the water for the day. A great grocery store and an assortment of eateries await in downtown Eastsound 10 miles northeast, with gorgeous Moran State Park, Cascade Lake, and Mt. Constitution only four miles beyond.
