Charming Oceanfront House with Gorgeous Water Views & Beach Access

This beautiful Gleneden Beach vacation rental is an oceanfront getaway that's perfect for the whole family! With amazing views of the sea and an accessible interior for guests who may have mobility needs, this house is truly a wonderful getaway.

This listing is for one of the two neighboring homes (with a shared driveway) included in the Gleneden & Sea Castle Beachfront Getaways, which can also be booked together by larger groups. Planning a trip with college buddies? Need space for a wedding or a family reunion? Traveling with another family? In all cases - this home is for you!

Located right in Gleneden Beach, this bluff home is just half a block from the beach access. There are a few businesses close by, including the well-loved Side Door Cafe, and you can easily hop in the car and drive a few miles north to Lincoln City or south to Depoe Bay for many more options.

With a single-level interior and an open, wheelchair-accessible main living space, this home is the perfect place for a multigenerational family or a group of friends. The main attraction is surely the spectacular ocean view, which you can enjoy from the many large windows, the yard, or the covered patio. If the weather's nice, relax outside and marvel at the sunset, watch for whales, and listen to the roar of the ocean. You could also sit inside and do a little storm-watching or visit with your loved ones while gazing out at the sea.

The living room is a great place to gather. Sit in front of the enormous windows and enjoy the sights, turn on the 55-inch flatscreen TV to watch a little cable, or pop your favorite movie in the Blu-ray/DVD player. You could also turn on the gas fireplace for warmth and ambience.

This open living area also has a dining table with 10 chairs, which is great not only for eating but for putting together a puzzle, playing a board game, or using the provided WiFi to check out restaurants nearby.

Walk over to the open, full kitchen and you'll discover a cozy space for whipping up meals. This kitchen has all of the major appliances, so you'll have no trouble cooking a nice breakfast of eggs and pancakes or a dinner of fresh fish from a local market.

Down the hall near the kitchen, you'll find a bathroom with a ledgeless tile shower (but no tub); it would nicely accommodate someone with limited mobility. There's one more full bathroom and three bedrooms in total.

A utility room has a washer/dryer, which will certainly come in handy after a few days of playing on the beach! On those extra hot summer days, you can even cool down indoors with air conditioning. Your dog is also welcome to join you for a nightly fee.

Since the beach is a quick, half-block walk south along the street, you can bring the home's beach chairs, your flip flops, sand toys, and a camera to fully enjoy the stunning coastline! This stretch of sand is particularly nice, with a much quieter and less crowded atmosphere than larger Lincoln City to the north. Go out at low tide and hunt for agates, or watch for migrating whales!

For a fun day spent souvenir shopping, dining, and sightseeing, drive north a few miles to Lincoln City. If you prefer outdoor activities, you could bring your watercraft or rent kayaks to boat around Devils Lake. Just north of Gleneden Beach is the Salishan Spa & Golf Resort, which is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon, whether you prefer golfing, getting a massage, or doing some shopping and gallery browsing.

Head south a few miles to charming Depoe Bay or keep driving to reach bustling Newport, the home of the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Along this stretch of coastline, you'll pass many beaches - such as Beverly Beach and Fogarty Creek State Park - that are some of the best for hunting fossils, agates, and other treasures. Whether you choose to stay close to home, explore nearby towns, or simply enjoy the sand and surf, there's something for everyone here!

Book a stay at this oceanfront, accessible Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental and start looking forward to your fun-filled beach escape!
