The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens are one mile north and downtown Fort Bragg is three miles beyond, where you'll find the Skunk Train (a historic railroad that passes through old-growth redwoods and the Noyo River canyon) and the ever-unique, treasure-scattered Glass Beach. Six miles south is the village of Mendocino, which is home to an assortment of galleries, coffee shops, and great restaurants.
