Recent Port Orchard vacation rental reviews

We were only in town for a couple of days for a family matter so this place we actually perfect for what we needed which was really just a place to sleep. Hotels are expensive and not big enough for my crew of 6. So this place was great. I would definitely rent this place again if we come back to Port Orchard.

We really enjoy the house, my family and I planning on staying there when we go back to Washington in the summer if the home is available.

While you’re here, explore the cute downtown area with its antique malls, restaurants, and locally owned shops. Extend your stroll to the marina, where in the evenings you can watch the flickering lights of passing ships and boats, and breathe in the fresh air. If you’re getting hungry, The Swimdeck Gastro Pub is a great spot to stop in for a quick bite and a pint. And don’t miss out on the adorable Hobbit House at The Brothers Greenhouse—you’ll feel like you just stepped into Middle Earth. The greenhouse also allows you to peruse fresh flowers or attend a variety of public events and workshops.

If it’s outdoor activity you crave, be sure to visit Blake Island Marine State Park. This recreational area is only accessible by boat—or kayak, if you’re feeling adventurous—and offers miles of trails for walking, hiking, or biking. You can also fish or dig for clams along the island shores, and cook them up in the fully-equipped kitchen of one of our Port Orchard rental homes. If you’re in search of some more remote wilderness, the Olympic National Forest is only about an hour away, and is home to some of Washington’s most incredible hikes and overlooks.

All the excitement of Seattle is accessible by road or ferry. If you choose the latter, board at the nearby town of Southworth and coast along the serene waters for a day of exploring Pike Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum, or countless shops and eateries. Be sure to score a six-pack or growler from a local brewery to enjoy later at one of our Port Orchard vacation rentals.
