Dog-friendly Colonial across the street from the beach with shared basketball

This roomy, three-story home is perfect for families looking to get away at any time of the year; the winter is extra cozy with the pellet stove and cabin feel! The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you may need to whip up a delicious meal, including a Kitchen-Aid mixer, a food processor, and a crockpot. The dining room is a great place for the family to gather with plenty of room at the table for making memories. Outside, you can enjoy the firepit and the front porch, which is shaded by all the trees. Take advantage of the two provided kayaks, one canoe, and a shared basketball court within walking distance. A beach wagon and kayak carrier have recently been furnished in the home for use during your stay.

This dog-friendly home is located directly on the snowmobile/ATV trails, and is within walking distance of downtown's restaurants, shops, and the nearby tennis/basketball courts! Also across the street is a public beach. Be sure to bring the provided beach blanket, tote, and umbrella on your sandy excursions! Just a short drive away, you'll find the local grocery store as well as a gift/sporting store at Indian Hill for some souvenirs.

Moosehead Lake, which measures 25 miles by 40 miles, is the largest lake in the Northeast and the largest lake fully contained in one state with over 400 miles of shoreline. The lake, once home to various Native American tribes, boasts over 80 islands - one of which includes Mt. Kineo, which is climbable with breathtaking views. Fishing is abundant for anglers in search of an amazing year-round experience. You can take a ride on the Katahdin for an awe-inspiring tour of the lake or take a seaplane ride for additional spectacular views. Miles and miles of trails envelop the area for skiers, hikers, and ATV and snowmobile riders; the less adventurous can enjoy the many shops and museums unique to the area and the region. Many restaurants, some with lake views, provide delicious dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
