You can also hike through the Pismo Preserve (two miles north) to get a fantastic view of the ocean or take a trip to the famous Monarch Butterfly Grove (one mile south).

Pickleball enthusiasts will love the courts at Pismo Beach Athletic Club, which is less than a mile north of your vacation home. Buy a punch card and play to your heart's extent. Alternatively, use the courts four miles north in Shell Beach near Palisades Park or four miles east in Arroyo Grande at Arroyo Grande Recreation Center.
