Perfect Chalet in Big White for a long weekens. Stunning views, very clean and amazing service from Vacasa. Loved our stay and will be back.

Great view, great structure.
Ski-in ski-out was very unclear. Walk two blocks uphill to get on slope? Or ski downhill on road?
Hot tub was scummy when we arrived. Maintenance came quickly upon complaint, but didn't make us feel more comfortable about it. Later while we were going to have showers, maintenance person arrives without warning to clean tub - no door latch!
Tons of dishes and dish soap, no dish towels.
Would be very hesitant to rent from vacasa again.
Hi, Trevor! We are sorry to read you were not happier with your experience. We have reworded the description of the ski-out location for our guests, and there is a free shuttle bus that stops outside this home every 30 minutes that will take guests to the village center. Our hot tub tech is trained to announce himself before entering the house, and we will ensure this continues. Please feel free to reach out for any needs during your stay, including for dish towels, so we can assist you in having the best experience possible. Thank you!

The chalet was all that it suggested it would be. For our situation, the room set ups worked just fine. The hot tub was a bonus, the BBQ was another bonus, as was the gas fireplace. It sleeps 12, however, the seating for meals was a bit awkward, not enough chairs, but we worked through it. The ski in - ski out was not 100%, but again manageable. Kitchen utensils, pots, pans etc were all excellent and lots of them. The coffee maker worked fast, which was appreciated by all! Unfortunately we left a couple of items behind and Rebecca and Adam were top notch in dealing with us to ensure we got them back. Whenever I sent a question to them, they got back to me very quickly. I thank you vacasa, Rebecca and Adam.

Best location right on the bus stop to the village. Very cosy and homely, very spacious for a large group. Hot tub services were top notch along will all customer help for phone support that we needed!!! Highly recommended place to stay.

we enjoyed our stay at Big White. We were a 3 generation family - 8 of us and it was a great sized unit.Only challenge was that the loft did not provide privacy or quiet for those using it (ie sleeping) when others were downstairs. We knew that when booking it so it was totally fine, but something to think about. We found that the kitchen was well stocked in terms of dishes even with plastic glasses for outside.Would be nice to have some very basic spices, but again, it wasn't promised so just sayin'.

Great place could use some upgrades, but that wouldn't deter me from renting again

This was our first time to Big White therefore our first stay at Arollo D.The accommodations were perfect for our family of 4 plus dogs. There was plenty of space for us to not feel on top of each other and probably could have had another family stay with us - although that would have been a little crowded for our preferences. *Hot tub was great. *Kitchen was good.I always hope for better cooking equipment (i.e. sharp knives, etc..) but with a rental, you usually get the low end stuff which is what we had here. *Ski in was across the street from the chalet - perfect! *Bus/shuttle stop was literally right in front of the chalet - perfect! *Ski out - not too bad.We had snow on the road so it worked out ok. *Village is about a 15 minute walk. Not horrible at all as we could easily catch a shuttle one way if we were too tired to walk both ways.
Very much enjoyed this stay!

We had a great stay and directions were clear and communication with Rent Chalet great. Time to look at replacing the pots (teflon peeling) and pans (warped). Kitchen sink faucet needs a water diffuser to manage the pressure - it's missing.

Main objective was to ski for the weekend. We found the place is not a ski in or out, unless you are willing to cross the road of rocks and then skate ski up hill for a while. Ski in was a little easier but again you have to cross the road after dropping down the side of a good hill. We were disappointed in the slight miss lead information on ski in/out. However, there was a shuttle pickup in front of the house making it easier to get into town and then walking on ski hill back to the house.
The house was clean and enjoyed the view and clean hot tube. The kitchen had nice appliances but could use an upgrade on the two pans they have. It was difficult cooking with the pans as ever thing would stick to them making clean up much more difficult.
Overall we are happy with the experience but bummed on the ski in/out wording of the place.

The place was generally good. A few more things are needed in the kitchen, like pots and pans and a reasonable knives and vegetable peeler

Rough around the edges but what a view!

It was fantastic - the views were stunning, the hot tub was a treat after a day on the slopes, and everything was just as described in the posting. The 'ski out' wasn't quite as easy as it sounded though, especially for a family with small children who don't like to walk too far in ski boots with gear, but for older children and adults it would be fine. Having a few staples in the kitchen would be a huge bonus for being able to put together home-cooked meals, but we managed just fine. We would come back again in a heartbeat!!

we were all very please with location size andonly concern was the snow removal when we arrived..could have been cleared for easier access asn for the hottub deck was very icey so I'd recommend some type of de-icer for safety..we also ran out of toilet tissue..good thing we had kleenex.. over all we had an amazing weekend!!

We arrived to the chalet after a night drive from Vancouver and got stuck out with tired hungry young kids for45 minutes because the the door lock code was not working... eventually, we made it in. Once in we had a great time. A great place to share with another family, very well maintained, amazing views from the balcony. Not the best from the Ski in/out perspective.

The bathrooms were poorly maintained. The shower curtains and bathtub were mouldy and scummy.

Had another great weekend getaway at Arolla Chalet D. Condo works well for us from location and cost standpoint as well as sleeping arrangements. Condo is looking tired and needs some general maintenance but other than that a great weekend.

Location was a bit tough getting to and from the runs but not terrible. The property had barely the basics, can opener broken-hard to use, didn't have oven mitts or dish scrubbers but all were remedied immediately with phone calls. The neighbor who walked right in to our condo was a bit unnerving but we did report it and you changed our door code upon our request (as it was the address!!).Would for sure return!

We really enjoyed our stay at Arolla Chalet D. Past reviews were really helpful in knowing what to expect. The unit was clean and comfortable. Only complaint would be it could use a new coffee maker. We were grateful to be able to spend the holidays with the whole family, including the family dog. We will definitely be back.
